In with the new
I know a new look for the new year is a bit of a cliche, but as I’m still suffering from the virus I came down with on Christmas eve I’ve needed new things to keep me occupied! I hope you like the changes I’ve made to the design around here. I’m not entirely happy with it but it’s time for me to go to bed, so any more changes will have to wait for another day. And if anyone knows a way to change the font of my post titles (the big writing up there which would look lovely in the same font as my new header ) without having to buy the custom CSS upgrade, please do share!
Some of the other new things that have been occupying me include:
A newly discovered blog, Windward. Beautiful, crafty and foodie, and the source of this snowy photo.
A new board game, Romans. Bought on a whim as an extra Christmas gift, and played a lot over the last two weeks.
A new story based on a much loved classic, The Snowman and the Snowdog has a lovely soundtrack which I’ve been listening to on spotify as I nap.
A new book, Days of Blood and Starlight, the sequel to my favourite book of the last few years. I’ve not actually started it yet, but I’ve been re-reading its predecessor in preparation. It’s just as good the second time round.

Oh I love the new look! Very clean and simple and pretty. That snowy picture is gorgeous too
x
Thank you! I’m not happy with the cupcake so that will be changing, but think the rest is OK!
I really like the new look!
Wanting to change the fonts was the entire reason I left WordPress! Your blog’s looking great, though – I love the simple header.
Hi, Im a lurker, thought I would come out and say hello! I dont know if this plugin will help you http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/font-uploader/
Oh thank you (and hello)! That would be great if I was using wordpress.org but unfortunately I’m on .com. Might be time for a change!
Liking the new look!
Get well soon!
PS: And I’m just loving The Snowman and the Snowdog soundtrack too! x
Thank you for mentioning my blog! And also for mentioning that book. I hadn’t heard from that series yet, but it sounds like something I’ll love.
