Rome recap: the city by night

October 13, 2012

I think night was my favourite time in the city: the busy-ness, the dramatic lighting, the hustle and romance of the Trevi Fountain in the dark, the Romans eating gelato while dressed up to the nines.  We would walk out for dinner, eat in a little piazza somewhere, then walk back through the crazy late night traffic marvelling at how warm it was at so late an hour.  The moon was amazing while we were there, I couldn’t stop taking photos of it!

Yes! The trevi fountain by night is 10 times what it is in the day, so glad you saw it like that :) you’re making me want to go back:)

Rome by night was my favourite too- I love the light and how everything seemed so magical. Reading this recap totally makes me want to book a flight out there immediately!

I apparently did not comment on your Rome posts or pictures. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!

That moon is gorgeous. I feel I must now go to Rome, but only go out at night as the light is magnificent.
