Rome recap: Vatican City

I didn’t like the crowds and the shuffling through the galleries in the Vatican museums but I did like the fancy floors and ceilings. I didn’t like the heat while we queued to get in to St Peter’s but I did like the sunlight streaming through the windows once we were inside. I didn’t like climbing the increasingly narrow stairs to the top of the basilica but I did like the views once we got up there! Definitely worth the climb.

Pretty pretty Kate on the windy windy stairs…not to be confused with windy windy stairs. This comment is funnier when I say it out loud. English is weird.
