Everyone else has had Spandau Ballet stuck in their head for the last two weeks too, right? I’m not very into the Olympics but I do enjoy an uplifting 80s tune. I’m also loving the golden postboxes Royal Mail are creating in the home towns of each gold medal winner. How fun is that? You can check them out on the Royal Mail gold postbox finder. Obviously.

oooh where’s this one? Passed the one on hanover street yesterday and tried to casually take a photo not wanting to look all touristy. It didn’t really work. I just took a crap photo with half of a wee boy’s face in it! And I sang the song as soon as I read the title of your post

I’ve enjoyed the Olympics so much I think I’ll feel quite glum once it’s over. I’ve also been singing Gold but have also been bellowing ‘Hooray For The Olympians’ which is a song that we kept singing at school last term. According to my husband, Spandau is 1000 times better! x
Ha love it, there are a few in North Wales and i’ve never been prouder to say I grew up in Flint.
