Pitter Patter

June 11, 2012

Around Easter another friend had a baby, a little girl called Eilidh, and I made her this gift.  I’m not sure why it’s taken me so long to show you!  I bought the card first and it inspired the colour scheme; I think it’s pretty but not too girly-girly.  Baby girls need colours other than pink in their lives, don’t you think?

YES they do! The people in Aberdeen won’t tell us what we’re having, so I’m going to have to do all my baby shopping blind. I don’t think it will make a huge difference as I am against all of this pink is for girls, blue is for boys nonsense anyway. Your creation here is lovely. Still very feminine, but with personality.

Yes, I don’t like too much pink at all! This is really sweet.
