Parklife

We spent a happy few hours in Central Park in the sunshine, wandering around admiring the scenery and doing a spot of people watching.  I was sure we’d covered most of the park as we were walking for hours, but when we checked the map we’d only done about a third of it.  This park is seriously huge!  It’s pretty, and fun, and varied, and the views of the park and the city are stunning, but what I liked best about it was the chance to see real people living their real lives – jogging, walking their dogs, walking other people’s dogs, cycling to work, playing with their children, practicing their skating, and generally enjoying this huge communal garden in the middle of the city.
