Sisters and nieces

I just spent a happy weekend with my sisters and their daughters. The combination of relationships got a little complicated – we were sisters and aunties and mummies and daughters and nieces and cousins, as well as one daddy (and husband and uncle and brother-in-law!) – but the fun was very uncomplicated. Especially for Anna, for whom a game of hide and seek with her favourite bear is just the best fun ever. She also enjoys applause when she enters the room, pulling up her dress to show off her tummy and helping her cousin by rocking her swing/bouncy chair/car seat very enthusiastically.

For Lottie things are less complicated, as her happiness seems to be dependent upon a ready supply of mummy milk and nobody trying to take off or put on her clothes. She does also enjoy drooling on her mits, being the centre of attention and disco dancing with her daddy, which helps to soothe the tears caused by the aforementioned dressing and undressing. Of course you have to turn the volume up for Daddy Cool!
(forgive the fuzzy photos, I’ve just got my camera back and am still getting used to it again!)

This does not help my current baby want!
Ah sorry. Lottie is lovely, there’s no denying it! Anna is at that crazy age where she needs constant attention, but it still completely adorable! I’m not helping here, am I …
