When there are clouds in the sky

It’s been a tough week but there are a few things that have been making me smile, so how could I resist compiling a list for you?
1. Seeing the new Harry Potter film at the cinema on opening day – I’ll only be able to do that one more time. Also, this fun photo:
2. This very happy baby; isn’t his smile gloriously infectious?
3. This clever advert: love stop motion!
4. An unplanned but wonderfully familiar lunch with my mum and dad (soup and homemade bread followed by cake and fruit is a Saturday staple in their house)
5. My first gingerbread latte of the season:

Ooooh I’m going to see HP on Wednesday – I’m crazy excited, hope you enjoyed it! And the Starbucks festive range does have the ability to put a big smile on my face – even if I do despise the fact that they dominate the entire globe!
Oh I’m so pleased that John’s smile is spreading some virtual joy too! You’re so sweet to mention him on your lovely blog.

What do you mean, a Saturday staple in our house? We have soup and bread and cake and fruit every single day of the week, in the winter at least! X X
