Cheery tunes for rainy days
So, the rain has continued all night and all day, and is showing no signs of letting up. At this rate we’ll all be underwater by tomorrow! Some cheery rain-related tunes are definitely in order; those chocolate chip cupcakes I was going to blog about will just need to wait until tomorrow to get their moment in the spotlight.

Sticking with my favourite musicals, this belter from Barbra Streisand never fails to get me singing along.
Finally (and this one is especially for you, Mummy, I know how much you love it) this incredibly cheery tune from Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid can’t fail to bring a smile to your face, no matter how wet it is outside!

Today was all sunshine but tomorrow is supposed to be all rain—boo! Good thing you’ve already got me in a happier mood. Gene Kelly! *sigh* He’s so dreamy. Random, but it’s been ages since I’ve had a good Rogers & Hammerstein marathon—I may have to do that this weekend if the rain insists on staying.
I love Barbra! And Gene! They don’t make them like that any more, do they?
