The countdown continues
The third Sunday of advent is upon us and it’s getting rather exciting now, isn’t it? We had a wonderfully festive weekend with Mr M’s family; we won’t be spending Christmas with them this year so we had this weekend instead to exchange gifts and enjoy each others’ company. We had family meals, walks on the beach, snoozes on the sofa and an evening of X Factor! No opening presents until Christmas day though, so we’ve brought a pile of nice shiny surprises home with us to sit tantalizingly in the corner for the next 12 days (yes, I’m counting!).
Speaking of counting, for this Sunday’s featured advent calendar I thought I’d do something different. It was very tempting to share another stunningly beautiful fabric calendar like this one or this one, but I’ve seen a few Martha Stewart inspired box advent calendars which are quite fun, and when I stumbled across this one at the happy home I fell for it straight away! What a lovely idea, and isn’t it beautifully done?
Oooh, this is my favorite advent calendar now. 12 days?! AHHH!!! I still have presents to make and packages to mail! Oh dear. Well, presents on New Years is still fun, don’t you think?
I don’t know how you can stand to see those gifts under the tree just taunting you.
Presents are always fun, any time! And I like the anticipation =D
