I went to see Fantastic Mr Fox today and although I’m still not entirely convinced (I’m often not that keen on film adaptations of books that I love), I was blown away by the stunning animation; it was just so beautiful!
As well as being amazingly beautiful, it was also really very funny. I think the best thing is to separate it from the book; as a stand alone film it’s good, as a film version of the book it’s just too far removed from the original story for me. It definitely did make me smile though, along with a few other things:
1. Red cups are back!
2. Dresses with pockets are amazing!
3. I discovered the perfect Christmas cards from this charity.
4. Mamma’s still does the best pizza, and fabulous chocolate cheesecake!

i got excited by the red cup action too! eggnog latte…yummmm.
I haven’t actually managed to have one yet, but it has warmed my heart a little just knowing they are there!
