First quarter century

birthday balloon

Tomorrow is my 25th birthday.  Age doesn’t usually bother me; I’m not the sort of person who stresses out about having a birthday every year, but this year is somehow different.  I’m really not that keen on 25.  But hey ho, tomorrow will come, I will turn 25, and there’s not much point sitting around moping about it.  With that in mind, I’m hoping for cake and presents and sunshine and we’re planning a day of fun at the Doctor Who exhibition!

Happy Birthday! I felt the same as you, 25 was hard. Don’t know why. 30 is fairly easy though, or maybe I was just too busy with kids.

Very, very jealous about going to the exhibition. We are a huge Doctor Who family. Do post about it!

Thank you so much! And yes, I am PRETTY EXCITED about the exhibition!

happy almost birthday! Er, although it’s after midnight, so technically it IS your birthday! I hope it’s a great one. I’ll be 25 next year… and I’m sure I’ll share some of your same feelings. Just try to ignore those feelings and soak up all the goodness that comes with having a birthday :)

Happy Birthday!!! I tried to find a video of John Barrowman or Zac Efron singing the birthday song, but no such luck. So you just get another bad photoshop from yours truly: http://is.gd/3jCkR

I’ve gone from not caring about turning 25, to freaking out about it, to being okay about the fact. I’m sure I’ll flip out again, but I can now take comfort knowing that you survived the giant leap. :D

Wow, thanks for that Christine! Another friend did a similar trick with a JB photo, so both my boys have wished me happy birthday, which makes 25 a little less terrible.

It seems that 25 has got us all in a tiz – why is that, I wonder?!

Say hello
